Mitsubishi and Nissan CVT transmissions
Good I hope;my wife bought a Mitsubishi with the ctv trans back in August.Time will tell if they are as durable as they claim. They have an excellent warranty. The ctv has a higher mpg rating than the manual shift model which surprised me.we opted for the 4x4 Outlander.Cant say if we did the right thing yet
How in the heck have you been.?
Glad to see you in here again..
The fact that I haven't been here much speaks volumes about the reliability of our 92 Accord.
This year may just be the last for our car, though. We're considering an SUV of some type to negotiate Edmonton's snow-covered streets a bit more easily. That's why the question about CVT.
Our friend has a one-year-old Outlander with CVT and he loves it, but one year of trouble-free driving isn't much to go on. Warranty is nice, but I don't want a vehicle that makes frquent trips to the dealer, regardless, because it's simply too much hassle.
Nissan has the Murano with CVT, but I know nothing about the reliability of its transmission, either.
