Default My back hurts

I just bought a 2009 EXL V6. The car is great but after my two our drive home last night and never getting really comfortable my back is killing me today.

Has anyone ever had this problem with the lumbar and safety design of the seat?

Has anyone doneanything diffrenet to make it work so it doesnt kill your lower back?

Any help would be much appreciated I would hate to turn in a car that is 1 day old

I just got a 2008 and I am having the same problems. I am wondering if a pad can be inserted in the upper portion of the seat to minimize the large lump. Anyone?

Seems like you should be able to do that. The parts drawing shows the pad (#10) & the heater (#9) being separate parts from the cover #1. So I gotta believe there's a way to stick a pad in there somewhere.

Have you tried adjusting the lumbar support?

Take a trip to an AutoZone or Advance and look at the lumbar pads they sell in the aisle where the floor mats are at..
