I just saw here in our site ads that Verizon and AlTell are now one company..Should be some good deals come down outa that merger...

Not for me. I've had Altell and when my present contract is up the Verizon deals are not as good... Maybe they bought Altell to eliminate some competition?

 

It is NEVER a good thing when cell phone companies merge. They already are on the line of being a monopoly.

They have basically zero marginal cost. As more people join their network it is less of a cost. My crazy economics professor did a massive lecture on it.

TracPhone Forever..that's what my wife has and she loves it..she makes maybe 10 calls a month on it ...uses the house phone to call all others..

 

I gotta agree with WheelBrokerAng, Tracfone is THE BEST!!!! I've had it for a year, and both of my parents and brother have it too. Calls are only 10 cents a minute and texts are 3 cents to both send and receive. Plus you get service almost anywhere!! (I drove from California to Wisconsin and only lost reception twice...in the Rockies!!!!!!!) Tracfone FTW!!!!
