Exclamation Oh Boy! Look What You East Coast People Get Next Week

Hi Members

Don't say the weather men (women) aren't warning you ahead of time about what you all may get from this Weather Warning. Be careful, we don't want to lose any of you over there.

Meh, no big deal; I've got a three day supply of gasoline for the generator and plenty of food in the house. Our water comes from a well and we live near the top of a fairly steep hill (our property has over 100' of local relief), so the only water coming into the house will be for our consumption.

Nah, our Ice Walls aren't anywhere near as dramatic or picturesque. Here's a shot from my garage bay from spring 2011 looking out toward our (then) family trip minivan and Home Depot hack.

Hmmm, I've lived out west (college and the Marine Corps), down south (Georgia and Texas), in the mid-west (Michigan and Illinois), in the mid-Atlantic (Virginia, Marine Corps again), and the New York City and Boston metro areas; southern New Hampshire is my favorite.

i would rather be able to see it coming from as far away as we can see Hurricanes coming from rather than to deal with earthquakes and tornadoes and snow/ice storms.
