The Old Official OFF-TOPIC Thread Is Done
Man its not just dual displays, that actually sucks for what I do. I hate having two desktops, so I would have to make the video full screen on my computer to see it full screen on my TV. My GPU has a feature that will play it full screen on my TV and not my main monitor, I can just leave it minimized. A newer nvida GPU I bought didn't have that feature so I returned it.

It depends on the card, some nvidia can do what mine does. Most just mirror displays or run two separate desktops. Not only is it uncommon, but most people think it's useless. I posted a question on the nvida forums a few years ago trying to find out which cards have this feature, to only find out most of them didn't even know such thing exsisted or thought it was pointless. I'm surprised your apple does that, I know my sisers iMac doesn't or she doesn't have it set up too. She lives in new york and I set her up over the phone so I don't know what really going on.
It's a feature on all Macs... it basically a second canvas with no menu bar or icons or anything. I know we can at work on our Dells too... our lead drafter has dual displays with one task bar
Yeah that's what I mean by two desktops. where if you take a window and keep dragging it goes over tot he next monitor. My setup is nothing like that at all, my TV only gets a signal when I'm playing a video file.
