I see a lot of mid 90's civics w/ huge wings and a cheap muffler. Half of them I see have major body damage or are ridin on steelies.Thats rice....
PS Nafango, I have a body kit and noone has ever called my car rice. If a body kit is put on a car it just has to flow with the overall theme IMO.

IMO, anything seenon The Fast and the Furious (or a car trying to look like it could have been on that movie) is rice.
But I have seen many Accords that I would still consider "rice" that were actually tastefully done. IMO the best looking 6th gen accord coupeI have ever seen belongs to MikeyMike on www.6thgenaccord.com. He also has a 6speed swap ona V6, so you know he didn't go cheap on anything.

I don't agree ..... some people don't want or need any performance mods, but want the car to look nice .... owner's perception. I think that rice is visual mods that are overdone and not tasteful. You can spend thousands on body kits, tasteful spoilers or wings and a killer multilayered paintjob and have the car looking beautiful and I wouldn't think that it is rice. On the other hand, rice can be cheap or expensive. Some of those park-bench wings are meant for the track and can be very expensive, but bolted to the top of a hatch, it just looks stupid. Also, american cars can get riced out too!!! Especially the Neon/SRT-4 crowd and the focus crowd.
Rice is a tough one to define and it depends on what you like or don't like. One man's rice-mobile is another man's dream car!

G35's are just pimp already. Stock they look sick enough. I wouldn't ruin a G35 with a body kit or a wing.

x2 ..... I've thought of picking up an STI and swapping the wing with one from a RS if it would fit. The RS spoiler is tasteful IMO. The car wouldn't look right without anything.
