Default Poorman and Snow

We'll I've been called a "dumb hick from the south" by some on here before, so here is more fuel for that fire.

I live ~25 miles north of Raleigh NC and if you've watched the national news you've seen (pretty sure it made it there) what we've been up to in the last ~30 hours. We got a good bit yesterday and then a break, then another round this afternoon.

Just thought I'd share some pic's for everyones humor. Yall have fun with this

Edit: BTW, the pic's are kind of in order....last night, this am and then this afternoon.

My sympathies. Hope it melts soon!

This year has made me appreciate life in deep south even more.

Regards

"Ship" - yea to you this is nothing, you'd get this in early Nov and think nothing of it.

"TX" - I spent the day looking at house prices in FL . I've had enough of this.

He-he, yeah, we've already gotten a good 8" today (on top of an easy compressed foot already on the ground), we have 6" more on tap for the next twenty hours or so, and then another 6" or so between Friday night and Saturday. Like you said, not really a big deal up here; heck, even the horses like it, when I take them out in the morning, the first thing they do is fold their bodies down into it and go for a good roll.

Heh heh...
Well, this photo was actually a couple weeks ago. We don't get as much as Shipo does, but I enjoy the snow. OTOH, I don't enjoy all the salt on the roads.

You folks are tired and true, no way a poor kid from the streets of Memphis - now Raleigh could handle that.

I've already made it clear to the new company there is NO WAY I would move to either of their current offices - Roanoke VA or Minneapolis MN. I did back off a bit and said if they doubled my salery I might consider it.

Prob didn't make a good first impression with the Sr VP of Supply Chain but he asked the question and I gave him a direct answer.

Anyway, I raise a glass to all of you.....you're better than I am. I thought I'd give yall a good laugh

Hey Ang - are you ever going to do anything with that town car?
