Post This post needs your attention

Hey guys this bill failed to pass last year because of lobbying by 'certain' interests.

I'm all for people to have the right to work on their own car.
http://www.righttorepair.org/

The main reason this bill needs to pass is because of the pending "Cash for Clunkers" legislation.
We could all wind up being forced to buy newer cars, yet be denied repair information.

Sheesh Ang, ya got me all confused with your post.... LOL
But the first issue is the 'right to repair'. VOTE YES; We do want manufacturer information to be able to repair our own cars.
The second issue is the 'cash for clunkers'. VOTE NO; We do not want to be forced into buying a new/newer car.
I agree the cash for clunkers idea needs to be laid to rest, the entire "old car emission" story is all ready shot full of holes. I think it was Pa. that figured out that for every car that wouldn't pass emissions the Taxpayer was footing a huge amount; something in the area of $10k,[per vehicle tested] because most of the non catalytic converter cars have already been scrapped. And even though I'd love for the Fed to give me $3k for my old 85 Yota pickup, I'd have no way to replace it with a comparable vehicle less than 10 years old for that amount of money.
