POST YOUR Mileage
1998 Accord EX-L, 168,000 miles. I bought it a year ago with 153,000 on it, trans slips a little, has since I got it, but hasn't gotten any worse. I have put plugs and wires in it, which cured a problem I was having with it sort of giving a quick "jerk" once in a while if I was going up a hill or something where there was a little bit of a load on the car, it was just missing once in a while, apparently. I put tires on it about 11,000 miles ago, Bridgestone Fuzion, they drive great but they are getting some road noise already... I had a set do the same thing on my Hyundai Accent GT, but every set of tires I ever put on the Accent did that, so I figured it was just the car....I guess I figured wrong, LOL. I have a check engine light that's been on since I got the car, the codes say it's the catalytic converter. I am going to get that taken care of here pretty soon.... OH, I also put a new ignition switch in it right after I got it. That's all I have spent on it. I need to pick up a driver's side back door handle, as mine broke back during the winter... I took the door panel off, it looks like tight quarters, but I think I can change it myself....
1998 Accord LX. Bought new in 1997. 212,000 miles & still going strong. Never had a CEL in its entire life (knock on wood). No mods, just regular maintenance & tune up. No fancy add ons. All stock, even the cat converter & O2 sensors. Just replaced the original radiator & hoses.
