2004 LX V6 Sedan
150,???. Bought it in 2010 with 90,??? for $7500. Seems to have been a really good deal. The car has been driven a lot over the past two years and held up great. Had to do calibers and rotors so far, that is all.

I have the same car and have a transmission roar with 84k on it. How long did you drive this car before the tranny went out?
Mechanics say I have a bad final drive bearing and it is roaring. Plan to drive it till it quits.

2002 EX with 156,000 ( 16,000 on second transmission)
Was Turbo’ed t3/4 60trim between 70,000 and 100,000 miles. Ran 7-8psi at 220whp. I am still amazed that the transmission made it to 140k miles after the abuse it took.
At 100,000 miles I had a Fuel Management disaster when my hondata decided to go on strike. As a result under 2psi of boost I had a minor detonation on Cyl #3. Gasses blew past the rings and pushed all the oil out the dipstick port. I idled back to my garage and reverted the car to stock config (only has I/H/E and high flow fuel pump now). Between 100k-120k the motor burned some oil. As of now it has stopped burning oil, last check when I pulled the pan and the head off for gasket replacements the cylinders were looking great. Recent compression test show all cyl’s reaching specs. Very shocked that this engine is still trucking after the abuse it has dealt with. Oh and it is averaging 30mpg, no oil burning nor coolant burning only a very minor oil leak at the oil pan near the TC.
I love my honda
