Default pulling the e brake to "drift"

i have a 06 accord 4cyl, and ive tried to pull my e brake to powerslide, and the wheel doesnt lock at all. rather the car starts to beep and nothing happens.

is it a factory setting that the e brake doesnt lock the real wheels if theyre moving, or am i just not going fast enough or pulling the brake hard enough.

has anyone else had this problem?

I've never done it, but I'm sure my wheels will lock on my 06. I use my e-brake regularly when my radar detector goes off. I don't want the cop to see my brake lights go off the second he radars me. You have to be really careful though, and only slow down slowly.

That is genious! I never would have thought of that. I never pull my ebrake when I drive though. As for najeezy, trying to do those "Batman Turns" and calling them drifts in a FWD car is not worth it at all. Your cable is loose problably because of you trying to get your car to slide. Pulling your ebrake like that can kill the brake system, warp the rotors, break the friction material, crack a rotor, seize a caliper, etc. If you want to drift then go buy a RWD car like a miata(That car is crazy maneuverable!). No hard feelings ment from this but I'm trying to help you not damage your car

Accord EX has rear disks. Occasionally they've include rear disks in some kind of LX special edition.
