He's got the 3-stage VTEC, so he's much faster at low speeds ..... On the highway, it would be about even, he's got more HP, but my car is race tuned.

 

ok cuz the dude told me that when its in dormant mode it runs on four cylinders but if provoked all 6 will go off...

 

hmm .... I've heard of a DOD system for the accords, but I've never actually seem it. It's not standard. For a V6 it would shut down 3 cylinders I think, but the center 2 could be possible. I know that it's mostly used on V8's like the Charger and the SSR and they cut back to 4 cylinders.

I think the Civic has a decent shot, depending on the course. In any straight power competition the Camry V6 would probably win

 

but dont forget about the weight difference of the cars. and the civic has a close gear ratio and LSD. camry is a family car not meant for racing

I think that the Si would roast the Camry!!! My best friend's EP3 can smoke my AV6! Also, I think that I have blackex19 by half a carlength to 60 and about 1.5-2 lengths to 100.

 

The Civic SIwould smoke the camry if the driver knew how to drive a manual.
