Type V

I wish we had these across the pond... Europe and Japan always get cooler cars
What would a TypeV correspond to over here? Our highest model is an EX and they never sold a "performance" oriented model of the 98-02 Accord here.

Grass is always greener.
I see some of the models on your side of the pond and think they look great especially the V6 Coupe.
Type V does not have the performance of the Type R and is mainly aimed at the 'Pipe & slippers' older driver. Still its 150BHP (the big exhaust might add a few more) is enough for me and its quite agile for what is a large car by European standards.
Not sure which model it corresponds to in the USA. Glad you like the pics Finch13.

Well, the interiors of our cars are so similar by design it makes me wonder why Honda didn't just design one model and sell it on both continents.
It sounds like we both have the same 2.3 VTEC engine... do you have to pay higher tax in Scotland for having an engine larger than 2.0L?
Also, since you have a moonroof, I'm guessing the TypeV is the EX equivalent. What's the next step down? Here it would be an LX, but I've heard of Executive models in Europe.

Tax
Our road tax is based on polution rather than purely engine size.
My 1.9Turbo Diesel Pug was £185 per year
The Accord 2.3 is £210. A 3.5L V6 can be as much a £405 pa.
Its daylight robbery considering the pot holes in our roads.
The one below the TypeV in our range is the SE Executive its spec is similar and is the only other model with a Bose Hi-FI. Cant really compare it to the Type R. We also have a Type S which is a lower spec sport version.
Honda are producing the S2000 Type V which will be sold in the USA very soon - That'll be a peach.

Hmmm... I thought 2009 was the last production run of the S2000?
So many different models to choose from! We have the DX (bare bones), LX (middle class) and EX (all features and options). They all have the same engine choices as well, minus the DX.
