im glad i didnt pay for the game, it sucks anyway. Maps are terrible and the action is not like the first one

 

Yeah for some companies they pulled use of starforce.... i think thats what its called.... but various places pulled the use of it because of the claim that theres spyware/direct software access when it was being used so some games just wont have disc protection on it

 

That's ridiculous. I've heard some games that do it will, ie will have rotating advertising banners in realistic locations within games, such as billboards or above generic streetside stores, etc.. But just plastering them everywhere seems retarded and annoying, video games are one of the few places I can get away from advertisements.

 

BF 2142...That is Battelfield 2142? Im sure its a computer game, just dont know which.

 

ET:QW is going to do in-game advertising as well. They justify it by saying the revenues from advertising will go to maintaining servers and updates. So we can either pay monthly fees like WoW or we can get in-game ads. Don't know which is better. I'll update you all if ET:QW ever comes out. lol
