yeah i was wondering what alot u people think about urban art (graffity)

 

i think that it takes a lot of skill to do and really what makes the city a city. Have you ever though of what a city would look like without graffiti? I don't like it when people tag stop signs and parks and stuff, but it can be tastefully done in other places. I just wish people would tag on some canvas so it could actually be hung up as art.

 

I think it takes an incredible amount of talent. I like seeing it on train box cars when they pass. It has never really bothered me seeing it in town, but then again I don't see a whole lot of it here in Mississippi. Plus it is illegal and many view it as a nuisance. I would hate to be one of the city workers (or whoever) that has to paint over it or clean it off, thena tag gets put right back up again the next day.

 

I often wonder how the people get to some of the places that you can see it .... like on the side of a bridge. If you're ever in NYC, take the E train into Queens and have a look around .... some of that stuff is 40 feet in the air on a shear brick wall with nothing else around!!!

 

never really gave it a tought to what makes a city a city
but then what makes a street artist an artist....
canvas dont really makes it fun to a point...

well if there was no graff who would those workers feed some
of there fams you know cause of lil taggers they survive they
get to work another day so why even feel bad we are paying
tax money for something..thats just me thinking on my 2cents.

it does take talent and time and really skill to be able to handle
a spray can n just have an empty wall and make something priceless
out of it..

how they get up there is kinda funny it takes ****en alot of b@LL$
sorry..trust me...i getting up on roofs hanging upside down or getting on lil billbords climbing
determination to get a spot...

I think it is a true art form, and i'm pretty happy that in the past few months it has become way more popular in my town. however the politicians and police are going insane over it.

 

yeah i have seen some in INSANE places on bridges that pass over highways. i have always wondered how they are able to do all of that without falling or getting caught.
