What kind of Honda would you restore if you wanted a older fast Honda?
My wife drives a 1996 Toyota Celica GT. It is in very good condition and has a 5SFE engine. I am thinking about restoring it and getting her a civic or something Honda related. But I really don't want to restore a Toyota, the Honda God's might not like that.
I was thinking about locating a older Toyota Supra (1990's) and restoring it, and keeping the Celica around for show because of the condition its in.
But I really would like to restore a Honda from the 1990's,
The car must have a turbo
I am not interested in the old civic that look like a wagon.
Any idea's???

I chose a cb7 you see civics and integras all over. Im not realy doing a restore just a refresh I guess you could say. The f22a4 is only 135 hp but has some potential or you can swap an h22 pretty easily. I plan on boosting mine later down the road.

Do you mean it must have a turbo stock? Because the Acura RDX and I believe the 88 or 89 acura vigor(or was it the legend?) are the only Hondas to ever come stock with turbos.
As far as my choice, I would probably choose a CRX.
And do you mean a Mark IV supra(93+)? Because a $30,000 twin turbo 6 speed supra isnt exactly in the same plane as a $1000 92 CRX.

Yeah I was talking about one coming with a stock turbo. I was under the impression that Honda made cars that came with turbo's stock. I don't mind spending money on a Mark Supra but its not a Honda. I think that I will look into the CR-X si of some sort. Right now I am gathering idea's and searching for the right car.
When I go to street racing show here in the Houston area, most of the cars there are civic's, and I want something that hardly anybody has you know.

RDX is the ONLY honda that come from the factory turbo'd
Now if you want something fast for "street racing" you need power to weight ratio.
A awesome sleeper set up IMO would be a 89 crx with a f22a swap. forged block with a ported head on a t3/t4 turbo set up. Easy 350hp with TONS of tq in a light car and reliable...at that. You can run with vetts with NO PROB
