i think a 6 d-cell maglite is pretty effective too...it wouldnt break skin easily, but you could pound someone with it, if need be.

I always have gum in my pocket and a flashlight in the trunk. But I voted a disposable camera, ironically I dont have one. Why? In case you get in a wreck, you can use it to first get pics of the other persons license plate in case they flee, then take a bunch of pictures in case you have to move your car like in a minor accident. Or you could use it in case you witness a crime. Or if you see something pretty...girl, building, etc...

no joke, tissues are bomb! for instance: you are driving to pick ur girl up for a date and you are almost at her house, then all of sudden you realize you have a giant booger in ur nose. you grab the tissue, blow your nose, and it is solved. many other reasons why tissues are the best, but too lazy to name all of em. btw, i do have allergies (bad allergies in spring[:@]).
