i have a friend who is going to get an 01 is300 and he wants to race me at the track
if i had aftermarket short ram intake, catback, header, pullies, cam gears, carbon fiber hood, racing seats, and eibach sportline springs with a rebuilt engine with new pistons and all that good stuff, do you think its possible?

my car:125 HP 137 TORQUE
curb weight: 2822
FWD

lexus:215 HP 218 TORQUE
curb weight: 3270
RWD

i think my the worse part is that his car is RWD, big advantage over me in a drag race

 

I would try to shave as much weight as possible, rip your whole interior out before the race. Also might want to consider a 75 shot of nitrous.

 

well, im trying to not go the route of nos, turbo, or supercharger
what else could i do?

idk if they make it for your car, but you could do a intake manifold with a bigger throttle body. chip your ECU.

yea, but im gonna try to lighten my car as much as possible, i dont even have a spare tire in my car, cause it probablly wont fit on my car anyways

Someone get connections to a JDM importer and persuade him to import a Skyline engine block. Do some massive modding and install....and wha-la!
