18k is a lot dude. I paid19.2 for a brand new 07 SE auto. I could have gotten an LX stick for under 18. This was in december in Waukesha, WI.

First go to Kelly Blue Bookand find out what it is worth in your area.........be brutal on yourself when it offers how to evaluate it.Then place an ad in the local newspaper (two Sundays only or the best deal they have ). Place an ad on Auto Trader.com. Using these two techniques I have always gotten asking price for my cars. They MUST be sharp inside, outside, engine, trunk, every single area. Craigslist would be hard to pass up since the price is so right. Keep it clean and perfect every fricking minute of every fricking day while it is for sale, rain or shine. Make sure the inside smells nice....Febreze orscent of your choice that will appeal to most people like vanilla.

If someone is coming to see it warm it up first and run the A/C so it will be cold the instant they turn it on. Service records are very important but looks and presentation are everything. I have sold cars before and the people never even drove them.....and they paid MY price. I have never backed down on the price of a car but I have a great deal of experience in selling them. No, I'm not a car salesman.
