Velocifero, what kind of numbers are you putting down for HP and 1/4 mile?

 

last dyno was 185whp, but ask me again next wednesday, im getting redynoed with my newer bolt ons. the TB spacer will be put to the test!! i need to work on my quarter mile. of the only two runs ive done, i got a 15.5 on the last with my heavy 22 pound 17s. the bad time is operator error haha. pretty sure i can hit high 14s. i hardly go to the track though.

 

Im not tryin to be anBUTT* but I dont see where you're getting this...Ill run a 14.5 1/4 milestock....Fastest for i4's, maybe

 

Not a chance, my 81 civic is (almost dead positive on this one) the slowest car on the forum.

Velocifero: you bought a throttle body spacer? Was that the ONLY mod you did between dyno's?

 

LOL .... you can actually see it in his signature pic ...... I think he meant that as a joke ..... although I would like to see a before and after dyno for a TB spacer for a laugh.

I have one!!!! It turned my car into a V7! LOL, I actually got it to drill a fogger nozzle into so I don't have to drill something that I'd care about.

 

I think he actually does want toprove whether or not it adds anything at all to the power. If I remember correctly he is very doubtful it does.

 

The thing is that every dyno is going to be a bit different. If the thing adds half an HP or even 1 HP, you wouldn't be able to tell if its a true gain or just the tolerance of the test.
