I did.....twice.

Got there 10 til 6am. The place was full and my group was 5th on the list. Waited like 15 minutes and we got our amazing Grand Slam! 2 Pancakes, 2 sausge links, 2 strips o bacon, and scrambled eggs coupled w/ a water. Total Bill - 0.00 =

Went again w/ a friend to our other Denny's @ noon and the line was humungo and waiting outside in the - degree weather wasn't cool. So I got 4 vouchers for free Grand Slams and left. Muwhahaha!

If you didn't know about this.......what were you doing during the Super Bowl/The Office/Lost? The 3 best things on tv.

 

I heard about it, but I don't understand why. So please, enlighten me why.

They were giving away free Grand Slams from 6am-2. Amazing breakfast for an unbeatable price

 

But what is the reasoning behind it? Like I know some places will do if a certain team wins and stuff like that. Or was theirs just because?

Just because! They paid $3 mil for the super bowl advertisement. I think its just one of those things where, hey that breakfast was pretty good, lets keep it in mind for the next couple of times. So the potential revenue will most likely outweigh the supplies expense. Besides, breakfast items like eggs, pancakes, and cheap bacon/sausage are cheap when bought in bulk. The profit for those items are pretty decent.

 

i hate all breakfast foods except fruity pebbles.

no breakfast foods like pancakes and waffels with syrup are like eating cake, its gross dont even wanna talk about eggs. =p
sausage and bacon the grosses fattiest crap ever, mind you i do eat bacon on my cheese fries and thats it.

 

I don't know as if I have ever been to a denny's. I know there aren't any where I live in NH, but there might be some around here in CT.

 

Im going to tell you all like i told all my ignorant friends who went to dennys and sat in line for nearly 2 hours for a half a** meal that someone can make at there own convenience..If you asked me Denny's should of offered free food to the homeless instead

I refused to wait in line for free food,like i was in a welfare line.. Nonetheless..I prefer IHOP over denny's anyday.
