May I butt in the conversation. The lightest production car I know is the Lotus Elise weighing in about 1900 + lbs. Havent' heard a Civic even a hatchback weighing in as low. Civics are about as far as I know about 27 maybe 2800 pounds. My brother in laws Mazda 3's 5 door hatch weighs in about 2900 lbs so a Civic hatch maybe lower .Like I said ,not 100% on this info so don't take my word for it. On the other hand, IMHO, I don't hate other cars, I am a car person -I love all cars that perform good and look good. It's the people or person that drive them. I've owned both import and domestic. And I used to be ( hate to be stereotypical) a ricer although I kinda still am. If I had known the Honda's would have a lot more aftermarket parts than Nissan. My first car would've been a Civic instead of a Sentra. On that note Cars are Cars. You ask if Honda people hate other cars? Question is - is there such a thing?

back on topic, i think that each honda driver has their own likes and dislikes of cars.
On my cb7 forum, (90-93 accords), there are honda drivers who hate on hondas. Yea, accord drivers who hate on the new civic Si's, they say the drivers are cocky and stuff.

thats what it boils down to...the drivers. unforunately, a lot of si drivers are cocky and ignorant giving honda a bad name and stereotype. thus, everyone thinks a honda owner is some pimply preteen.
