why the heck does every other mom out there have the typical 98-02 body style 4 door accord. haha im thinkin bout gettin that body style but jus the fact of seein alotta moms out there with this ride turns me away.

 

seeing moms drive them just means that the chicks dig them... Go for it... you've already noticed that the female demographic likes them why not get one yourself?

 

My mom has a 97, my aunt has a 97, my friend's mom has a 97, see a trend? I totally think that Accords are mom cars. I like driving it, it has more power than my civic but it can't handle nearly as well as civic.

 

if the MILF's drive em then they'd like the fact that you own one... It's a great car to take to the supermarket to pickup women with.... I'm telling you the type of girls who like a guy driving an accord are the keepers... Accord says hey look I'm a grown up, Civic says hey look I live at home with mom and dad! If the ladies like it they will come...

 

I would personally take a civic over an accord anyday, i'd rather drive a car that doesn't handle like a large boat.

 

dangg idunno im really startin to hate civics. they are sooo played out. n nowadays every civic is supposedly an SI. everyone rices them out n has the typical big BUTT* missle launcher lookin exhaust on the back n DANG* the body is like 5 diff. colors. n the accord is jus classy n is in my price range. i love em. maybe the civics got better handlin then the SEDAN accords but not the coupes. all in all the civics got nothin on the accord.

 

I'll agree with you that the civic is played out and prolly the most riced out car in the history of automobiles. However, the civic is not a bad car in any way. Mods for the civic are so abundent its amazing, the civic prolly has the best aftermarket out of any car. The one problem with the accord that i see is that its aftermarket is terrible. The only thing i could really find for the accord is a supercharger. For the civic, you can find a supercharger, 10 different turbos, low comp pistons, high comp pistons, forged rods, valves, the list goes on. The only exception to that is prolly the H22, but my friend is thinking about doin an H22 build (in a civic) and he tells me that the aftermarket isnt as good for the H22 and he is having a hard time finding parts. Civics are light as hell, accords are not. I'm pretty sure that a civic would out handle an accord (coupe for coupe) if the power from the engine was the same.

 

personally i love it when people completly bastardize all hondas in general. (sarcastically) I love it when people in my area, most happen to be mexican, with their big wings that look like a piece of aluminum on two boards which extend past the roofline, also i love the body kits that flapp around over every bump, that makes it high quality performance right there. I love seeing nice done up cars but when you see this it completly turns people away and gives Import cars the whole "ricer" name.

 

I agree with you man, it gives people who are actually going for performance a bad name. But hey, it makes it that much better when I smoke them!

 

Not everyone that drives the sedan accord is a mom.. Im 20 and I LOVE my car! Its pretty and it isnt your typical car for someone my age, every other girl I know drives a caviler or grand am. Its classy yet sporty and I think "moms" (or any female for that matter) realize that we can have the best of both worlds with just one car.

And to keep on the subject of "ricey" everyone (including their moms) around here (ND) has some big ghetto wing and bumble bee exhaust and Im proud to say I drive a honda that isnt "ricey"!
