Sports bikes are always nice to see.Which is your favorite sports bike.My favorite bike is Suzuki Hayabusa. It looks so stylish. The Suzuki Hayabusa was made famous in India by the Bollywood movie Dhoom BY John Abraham rode it in the movie.Powered by a 1340cc in line 4 cylinder engine, the Suzuki Hayabusa is likely to sport a price tag of Rs 11 lakh. I think it is the world's fastest bike.Let us share your thoughts.
I'll bite, but I'm going to go a bit off topic and discuss our very fast touring bike - a 1984 Yamaha Venture Royale that my wife and I bought four years ago. Sport bikes may be faster, but they make their riders pay big time in the comfort department. I've seen early '90's sport bikes that have only 5,000 kms on them, so, again, they may be fast, but they aren't ridden much. How practical is that?
The early Ventures were more like sport bikes in performance, but they were also a bike that you could (can) ride literally all day with no discomfort whatsoever.
The revolutionary Yamaha Venture was introduced by Yamaha in 1983. The engine in that bike was a slightly de-tuned version of another revolutionary model that it introduced in 1985 - the venerable Yamaha VMax:

Specifcations section from original Cycle Magazine test-ride report on the 1983 Yamaha Venture Royale (I've had the bike to 125 mph and there was still some throttle left, so I believe the stated top speed):

Me filling the bike (notice the custom seat I personally made for my long legs, as well as the custom passenger-peg and rear-trunk risers):

This bike makes our Accord look unreliable. The Yamaha engine design is absolutely bulletproof.
(I'd give my left nut to have that new-generation VMax engine in our bike.)
