Default '91 Accord EX engine for sale - $150

Hate to waste it if someone needs it. 211K miles, daily driver, one owner (until I bought it from my brother this week). I'm pulling the engine to swap in an electric motor - I'll keep the trans and clutch and accessories.

So - engine, radiator, exhaust, airbox, etc all go.

Hopefully someone near Atlanta can use it; I'd actually be happy to get a hundred bucks for all of it, picked up.

Forrest

< Edit - picture of the car - engine is inside - anyone need a pic with the hood up? Maybe it's got a turbonitrousblowercharger? Forrest McCanless, Oxford, GA 30054 >

I'll use the existing 5-SP and clutch; the controller I use will have an "idle" function when the accelerator is not depressed, so I'll drive the standard Honda accessories off the other end of the motor shaft.

I'll weigh the car, F/R at the local quarry Friday. The battery pack and motor will be 1080 lbs; I'd like to keep the final product (empty) under 3600.

hummm sounds interesting. I would like to see how this turns out. Why don't you make a build thread for this?? I'm sure you will have lots of ppl who would like to read up on this. It sounds like you have done your homework. MAKE A BUILD THREAD FOR THIS!!! it would be a good read.
