fs: BNIB Honda EP-R5 Wheels with Centercaps & Valve Stems/Caps

^ Thanks for the info. That's really weird though. I've read/heard from many different sources and they all said 2006 Accord Coupe will need spacers if I get HFP EP-R5 17" +45 offset.
Let me do some more thorough research and get back to you guys. If you're right, I'm definitely interested in these rims.

Believe me, if the +55 fit, then the +45 will fit fine. How offset works, the +45 will sit 10mm more out in the wheel well from the +55mm set. This will actually give you MORE inner clearance, which would be the only reason you would need spacers (to clear suspension parts or brakes). So it the +55 clears it, the +45 will also. There are people running 18x9.5 +28 wheels specs, and they fit fine....I think you are just overthinking just a bit.
What sources are telling you you will need spacers? My bet is that they are saying that you will need them if you want the wheels to sit "flush."
Because without spacers, they will still be sunk in a bit. It is an HFP wheel designed by Honda, so it will fit. They don't go crazy on their specs.

this..
thank you hondafreak91c for the explanation..
You would actually need spacers more with the +55 wheels. The +45 wheels will stick out 10mm more, giving more inner clearance. So in theory, the +45 will be easier to fit than the +55.
You still may need spacers to fit the wheel over the brakes, but the +45s will require a smaller spacer.

Thanks again for the help. I've learned a lot.

then you will really need atleast 25mm (1") spacers to sit flush on your fender well..
#16
Yeah, if you want to be flush without spacers, OEM Honda wheels are not the way to go.

I understand what you guys are saying. But I've decided to go with EP-R5 +55 offset not because it'll be flush but more so because it's an original product intended for my car. Thanks for all the response. I learned a lot.

Good luck finding a set then. I imagine they are even harder to find than the +45s.
