My dad was recently in a wreck with his 1998 Honda Accord Coupe EX. He was rear-ended and then pushed into the car in front of him.

He took excellent care of the accord and spent a lot of money over the years to make it look new. However, the car is totaled per the insurance company.

He would like to sell it to someone that would be interested in pulling parts off of it. Below are the details about the car.

The car is located in the St. Louis, Missouri area.

1998 Honda Accord Coupe EX. Recent front and rear-end damage from wreck. Car still runs, NO airbag deployment; Will sell (complete auto) for parts. Items include: leather bucket front and rear seats; front tires with less that 2000 miles, rear tires around 10,000 miles; aluminum spoke wheels, V6 engine (runs), 199K plus miles mostly highway, this engine would have run another 100K, according to my mechanic; moon/sun roof; tinted glass all around; rear spoiler; AM/FM/CD radio; fully loaded vehicle; doors and side windows look to be in good shape; power mirrors, power steering, power windows; dual exhaust; dark green metalic paint.

Damage to vehicle includes: REAR: crumple zones; rear bumper; rear quarter panels, unknown hidden damage; FRONT: headlights, radiator, AC connections (compressor works); fan; turn signals, unknown hidden damage.

Update: Dad hasn't had any luck selling the entire car so he's decided to try to sell parts off it. If anyone needs something from this car, let me know. ...Or if anyone has any ideas on the best way to part this car out (is there a shop that would just buy several parts), I would really appreciate the info.

I've already called Pick N Pull and they only want to give $406 for the entire car. The interior alone is worth more than that.

The interior is all leather and in great shape. The car had two brand new front tires. Engine works great, etc, etc.

Pick and Pulls are good places to buy stuff cheaply..They would pay you $406.00 for that car and then make about $3500.00 on the parts..

That of course is why they are in business..

 

Hows the front bumper? I NEED a replacement for my 01..coupe.

 

I think it's pretty much smashed up and no good.

 

How are the rear Tail lights? Not the one on the trunk lid but on the either side.. I know you said its a rear impact but in the picture I see one of them intact.. I am looking for the pair though..

 

Man i would kill if this had been the 2.3 for certain parts!

 

Dad ended up donating the car. It's gone now.
