Default driver's side mirror

My driver's side mirror fell off as I was adjusting it going down the road. Just the glass and it's plastic mount fell off. The glass shattered. The plastic mount was still good, so I ordered a replacement piece of glass on ebay. Tried installing new glass, but couldn't get it to fit, so I warmed it up in the oven to make it pliable. Made it a bit too much pliable! Now it's junk.

So, I still need a mirror. I would like it with the plastic mount so I don't have to mess with it.

Can anybody help me?

Junkyard?

Question: How did you melt glass in a conventional oven?

junkyard has it. 40 bucks. probably should have just spent it, but, I'm kinda cheap.

I put the plastic in the oven, not the glass. Figured 300 degrees for 10 minutes would be about right.

It wasn't. [:@]

Hahahaha... not making fun of you for fawking it up, but the way you phrased it was hilarious.

Well you have to be able to get the glass in there somehow... I don't think they mold the plastic around it. If it were me I'd spend the $40 and call it a day.
