Hi im looking at this 99 accord and im thinking about buying it. it has 190,000 miles on it and was wondering if it was a good idea to buy it. The car costs about $3000

 

Any 11-year-old car can have problems. This car might be a fine purchase, but not without a good in-person checkout. Find a mechanic who does a lot of Hondas & get a buyer's inspection. We can't see the car from here.

Seems like $3k is on the high side, but I didn't look it up in Edmunds or KBB. You should do that. The going price depends on where you live.

 

I would only consider it if theowner had excellent maintenance records. A plus if the previous owner was the original buyer. Even then, I would pay $100.00 for a Honda expert to evaluate it and do your homework with your local KBB pricing.
