tryin to do a sex change on my 98 accord.
looking for a manual tranny. Good condition, decent price,
andpreferably nothing over 150k miles.
if have any suggestions will take in consideration.

No... not really. I can only remember a few times I've ever seen a manual tranny for sale... most people don't get rid of them or junk them when the engine dies.

 

well do you have any other places you can think of that i might find one other than a junk yard. I came accross one at one time in a junk yard for $300 but i couldnt get it and at that time i wasnt thinking aboutdoing a sex change.

 

The labor price for that job is prohibitive as well.

 

your best bet would be the junkyard, as then you could get the other parts necessary for the auto-manual swap off the same car.

 

well thats more money in my pocket... I plan on doing it myself
