What is the year model and mileage. Seems to be 2014+ and that's normal if it is. May want to have the valves checked just in case

It’s a 2019 honda Accord sport 1.5L currently with 11k miles. Im the 1st owner.also when i press the gas and the turbo begins to engage and the metal shaft pulled out and pushes the air back in there is a metal grinding sound

It's important to list the information about your car. It will help giving you the best advise when we are not there physically looking

That's ok.

I've been working on a 14 4cyl and noticed the same issue. I was doing the 100k mi service and had to change the VC gasket because cyl 1 had a leak. I checked and adjusted the valves because the noise was as bad as yours. It got a little better but not by much (they were still within tolerance). I chalked it up to it being normal because of the direct injection engine (DI). The DI has a higher pressure which will cause the ticking noise.

The engines have a lifetime chain and water pump so no belt in these

i hope this is the case for me. I noticed maybe its a serpentine belt also i have another snippet of a close up on that part. If you’re facing the car with the bonnet up under the engine on the left there is a hidden belt that sounds like the culprit imo. This is also my first turbo car so idk anything about maintaining it. Ive been running it hard every now and again so maybe an intertwined issue of DI, a belt, and a small turbo problem because i drive 90 daily.
