Default Simple Advice?

I went from a 1997 all power, all leather T-5 Volvo beast to a hand-me-down Honda Accord 1991 Ex with about 213000KMS. It is a massive 180degree on the quality spectrum. I started reading about these cars and soon found out that they are pretty well done. NOW, for the advice part.
This F22A4 is brown with hubcaps. I like the conservative, non-ricer mods at a low price. Any suggestion will be highly appreciated.

Nothing wrong with Volvos, I own two of them. But working on Hondas is a lot easier.

Volvo was never a "good looking" car, but its engine is one of the best. The 97 T-5 tried to look like a Pontiac. On the other hand, the 91 Accord EX (without customizing) was something flat over the street. With a car that old I won't worry much about "conservative" but surely will do about "preservative".

I don't own a 4th Gen Accord, but my friend does. Since you are looking for conservative, is this to your liking?
