I have noticed that when I go over speed bumps or other bumps that my shocks make a creaking noise. It is worse in the mornings and in colder weather. Are they old, or messed up? And what about replacment on them? I helped a friend install some megan racing coilovers on his infinaty so I can do the labor my self.

 

Suggest some inspection to make sure it's the shocks. Some more likely points to squeak/groan are stabilizer bar bushings (loosen and lube w/ white grease) and lower/upper ball joints (check for good boots).
