Excessive Roll when turning, what to do?
I have a 2012 Accord 4 door, nothing special. about 92k miles. and when driving down the highway 80MPH, it seems a bit tippy. too much oversteer to be comfortable with. I know I can replace the sway bars front and rear, links etc.. but what would you folks suggest, first, second third, and so forth.. Also, is there a known problem with the sway bar links going bad? I see lots of videos on replacing them.
Thanks!
Brian

Sway bar links go bad when they go bad. It's normal. You know they are bad when you here a slight clunk (like something is loose) going over a bump. I would put the car in the air to see if you see or feel anything bad. At that mileage you should have maybe one thing bad depending on driving habits
Sean, there is no cluck noise. I would have know right away if I had heard that, but it seems this is a weak spot on Honda's and I will check it. I was leaning towards replacing the rear anti roll bar. ST or Progress brand? others?
Also, some one said in a different post he had put "split couplers" on the front sway bar. I have never heard of that, what is it?
Has anyone just replaced the rubber bushings with more dense neopream ones with any luck.
Thanks
Brian

Your description makes it sound like it's not even right for a stock setup. Then you're talking about aftermarket stuff. All that's OK, but first you need to find out if anything is actually broken. End links can also break, leaving them disconnected and maybe not making any noise.
Have a good look at all the suspension links, anti-roll bars, end links, everything. Before getting a lot of parts, find out if anything is actually broken.

Jim, absolutely. I will check everything over first and see if any bushings are worn or anything broken before I do anything. It maybe just a case of, I Have been driving a 2018 Jetta for months and this feels different. softer suspension.
If I can't find anything worn or broken, I will modify to a new rear sway bar (aftermarket 22mm solid) and then see how I like that. If I want more, I will replace the front one, but I don't really want to deal with the front one. BTW is the front one solid or hollow?
Thank
Brian

I think most people would recommend stiffening the springs before stiffening the anti-roll bar. That will increase the roll-stiffness along with giving a tighter feel all around. But if you change the springs much, that leads to changing the shocks... (Leading into a process that doesn't end until your bank account is empty.)
I don't know for sure, but I'd be pretty surprised if the stock bars were hollow. That's a cost-increase with little or no benefit for "most" owners.

Added bonus.. while riding down the highway at 70's MPH up and very windy day, the car barely sways. I am very grateful for this added stability. now more Wooooohaaa, when a gust of wind blows as it pushes the car, it does not go side to side in the lane anymore.
