Default Fender well/Camber

yo yo, i have a question/problem lol

i recently had a ingalls camber kit put on my accord and my front tires would slam into my fender well when i hit a bump in the road (it didn't do that before the camber kit), so i raised my car about a half inch and that seems to have fixed the problem except when i hit a larger dip or bump in the road...unavoidable ones of course
i know i could raise it a little more but i don't want to do that cuz i like how it is now.
adjusting the camber is another thing but i really don't want to do that...wanna preserve my tires long as i can...plus i don't kno how to do that. (btw, how do i do that? thanks)
and i've heard some ppl just cut the fender well...so would that be wise?
taking suggestions if any of you have had that problem

thanks

Ingalls Upper Control Arm Camber kit. My car killed the offset balljoints in a year costng me a pair of tires, an alignment the new control arms and much aggrivation. I ground the part so it wouldn't hit, but the rubber got destroyed in under a year, so I cut my losses and bit the bullet for the expensive control arms ..... I haven't had a problem since and can't imagine such a large sedan handling any better.

I had one of my mechanics install them ...... outside of the shop he works at. I could have done the install, but I don't have the free time anymore to do much of the work myself. Also, I figured that he could do it and bring it for the alignment so when I got home from work it was done. The parts are crazy expensive for what they are, but they are much better and if the ball joint goes again, it's a simple fix to replace it since it's held in with 4 bolts on a slider track.

It's been too long to remember, but I'll take a look around for you.

(Do not click this, 156 page catalogue ..... save it to your desktop or Adobe will bog down your CPU)

Page 35 has your car listed. There is no control arm set for your car, but the ball joints have the same model # as for mine. If I were you, I'd call them to see if you can use the part listed for 6th gen, but I doubt it otherwise they'd list it that way. Are the bad parts Ingalls? Mine were so I'm not sure if there's a quality difference, but they are a good company for these parts.

ok, i checked it out
and they don't make the front arms for 7th gen and said that really the only option is to either run more negative camber or cut some of the fender well where i'm having clearance problems or even a combination of both. On another forum I was told i could just keep raising it until it gets clearance but i don't wanna do that. guess i'll just run more negative camber for now and hope someone will make the front control arms soon. i've been looking still and can't find em from other companies either. it sucks

but the ingalls parts are great, i haven't had any problems with em, it's just that my stock control arm is not clearing when i hit bumps in the road.

I ground down the edge of the bracket so that it wouldn't hit .... it helped some, but on really big unavoidable potholes it would still hit some.

yeah, i'mma take another look at it 2day when i get off work and i think i might just ground it down some cuz i raised JUST a tad and it helped, it only hits when i hit umavoidable dips or bumps
