Question klunky!

Klunky sound in front end, driver side mostly. I hear it whenever I go over any bump. In order to fix it, I have replaced upper control arm, all ball joints, put in easy struts, CV joints, tie rod ends. The sound is not as frequent but is still there!! Any suggestions as to what this could be?? Bearings maybe? Thanks a ton!

Default Hi Klunky :)

When you had this car aligned (if you did)..then they should have found out the problem at that time in space..or if you didn't get it aligned...why Not!.. Did you?

Thanks for the reply. Not yet, because a mechanic friend of mine said it may be the wheel bearings so I might as well get that done asap so I do not end up paying for 2 alignments. (Not driving it, though)

ok. i have new wheel bearings, cv's, coil overs, struts, ball joints, control arms & tie rod ends (inner & outer) & alignment. I am STILL hearing the klunky sound over any bump. Seems any time my car is not level I hear it. I am going crazy trying to figure this out! sway bar??

When you get it figured out, let me know! I'm having the same problem with mine (92 Accord EX). I does tend to drive a person crazy!

helps if we know what year and trim accord. Some gen accords are notorious for suspension banging when lowered on coilovers

It is a 97 Accord Ex 2.2L L4. It does drive you crazy! It seems the more parts I replace, the more I hear it.

haha i had the same problem, i found an antiroll bar bushing had worn down so the bar would smack the bottom of the car whenever load was changed. not loud but enough to drive a person mad. check that and let us know.

What type of coilover strut combo are you running? Also what style of camber kit do you have?
