Default lowering and new shocks/struts

if i plan on lowering the front 1.25 inches and the back 1 inch, do i need to buy new shocks/struts or can i run them on stocks? also, do i need a camber kit? i'm currently running 18's with 235/40/18's on a 2002 4cyl coupe. same questions for a 1.5 drop in the front and a 1.2 inch on the back? thanks for your help.

If yourstock struts are good right now a 1 inch drop would be okay without replacing the stock struts. Generally anything over a inch to an inch and a halfdrop requires new struts and possibly a camber kit so that your tire tread doesn't wear down unevenly. Hope this helps.
