What kind of Rotors and Pads to get??
I got QuietStop Ceramics from Checker and they are okay. They gripped like SOB at first, I brake hard so theres a nice blued steel-looking glaze on my rotors and the brake fades is horribly. They start feeling like warped rotors once they overheat.

^ the ones that they sell at the dealer. But it would be cheaper to buy it online at some honda dealer website and install it yourself or have some trustworthy mechanic do it for you.

what's your budget? I got both my pads for about 60 shipped. So with rotors and everything, you're probably looking at least 180 + shipping. Rotors cost at most 60 bucks, more depending on the area you buy it from.
Actually the OE rotors they sell at O'Reilly's aren't half bad. ~$25/ea with a non-directional finish. I put new ones on my dads 01 Dodge Dakota and the new pads and rotors were so tight I needed to beat the calipers on with a mallet. I don't remember the brand they said they were but they only carried two brands, and it was the cheaper of the two.
Carbon fiber pads sound fishy, overkill, and expensive. CF is extremely strong, but I don't think it creates friction thst well. Graphite is a form of solid carbon and is used as a dry lubricant, so I can't see one form of carbon lubricate and the other form cause friction. If you are going the high performance pad route then don't get OE spec replacement rotors. The rotors are designed to accomodate moderate pads with moderate braking. Even the Checker brand QuietStop Ceramics I got easily overheat the rotors, causing excessive glazing and brake fade.
