your stock suspension is a coil over strut assembly. what your talking about is quality. and what you pay for is what you get. you can ghetto it.....and just cut the coils. you can get some cheap lowering springs.. you can get some cheap coil over assemblys etc... or you can get some good stuff all the way up to the best stuff which is a fully adjustable high quality suspension

well skunk2 makes some real nice coilovers but they are $255 on ebay. i'm not sure how much shipping is? you can also get just lowering springs from skunk2 for around $165 or cheaper......anyway!
if you get them you will have to invest in struts not long after.
i got a set of KYB G2 struts for $179 shipped to my door.
i strongly suggest not buying the cheap knock offs on ebay, i haven't bought some but i've heard bad stories. those are just my opinions though.

You may also look into buying a System caleed the N1 by DropZone, full set of coils with the struts included..very high quality and they work well.

i would just get new struts and springs. coil overs are a bitch and you will get a ****ty ride out of them. i dont have coilovers but a lot of my friends do and i hate riding in there cars. and if you want better hanling get strut bars and a set of sway bars. i have just the strut bars and i can tell a little difference in handling.
