05 Accord tire size
I just purchased a set of 20" ALT 296 Blade wheels for my 2005 Accord coupe. They are 20x7.5. I got a great deal on them, $300 brand spankin new in the boxes. I was wondering if it would be safe to go with a 245/35/20 tire. Thanks

I'd expect it would fit, but rub a little when you turn the wheel all of the way. The rim offset is the most important part .... look at the stickies under wheels and tires .... I just posted a few links that could help you.
Now REALLY, are you sure that you want to install wheels/tires that RUB A LITTLE on the inner fenders when turning? I don't think this a very prudent idea! Maybe you could mount them and only go straight!
chance ..... if you took a poll of drivers that have 18's or bigger, you'd find that about 75% or more have some minor rubbing; it usually is minor and doesn't matter. The people with these rims just don't turn the wheel to the locks ..... it cost them about 5-10 degrees of turning. Obviously if he is putting 20's on an Accord, he is looking for an extreme appearance.
gentlemen ..... please relax. We all have different ideas of what we like and don't like. There's no need to bash each other or argue. Magic, please edit the last post and chance, your point is taken, but the comment about only driving straight is unnecessary.
