Hello all. This is my first post as I am a new Honda owner! I need some advice on a new set of wheels I am looking to purchase. My new Accord is an 07 2dr EX V6 6 speed. The stock wheels are 17 x 6.5 with a 55mm offset.

I am looking at a set of TSW Kyalami's that are 18 x 7 with a 42mm offset. Is this too much of change? Will I compromise my bearings and suspension? Any help would be apprciated. Thanks and look to forward to learning more about by car.

Hi Member: Good choice of Great Looking wheels..The size your quoteing in the TSW brand is right for your car and won't give you any problems: Your tire size should be 215/45/18"

Thanks for the information. Looking at a set of Pirelli Zero Nero M + S tires also.

I saw the rims on Ebay and the seller states the offset is not correct for the Accord. I find that hard to believe. They (Discount Tire Direct) state that I need a rim with 45-50mm offset.

Thoughts? Are you in the wheel business by any chance? Thanks again for your input. Dan

 

The actual offset that TSW recommends for your Honda is at 42MM.
