Default 20's 2007 accord sedan

Im going with 20x8.5 with 245/35/20 on my blue 2007 accord. the question I have is for people with 20's already on. People say you need a high offset. What exactly is considered high? The wheels I was looking at getting only come with a +35 offset will those fit without rubbing? and if I needed alittle more clearance couldnt I just get a wheels spacer on the studs themselves? thanks for everyone time

Default RE: 20's 2007 accord sedan

just new on this forum, i had an LX 4 CYL. 2007 HONDA ACCORD4 DOOR SEDAN. i installed 20"X9 ADR Maximus with 5 x 114.3 bolt pattern and +38MM offset, it's stick out on my car body about 1/2". My tires is NITTO 245/35/20, i like the look and the ride, yes it rub a little bit on my back if i have three passenger at the back. The tire dealer told me to solve this problem, i need to install a coil spring spacer on the rear shock spring. You can use 20"X8.5 and at least +45MM to +50MM offset. I made a lot of research and take a little bit of risk co'z if you will rely just only on the dealer, youmight not probably get what you want.Big-O-Tires is the one who help me to mount several option of tires on my car from 225/35/20, 235/35/20, 235/30/20 too thin, and the one that looks great for me is 245/35/20.Iinstalled 18"X7.5 KONIG HOLES with 245/45/18 and i spent $1,500.00 but not happy with the 18" and i replaced with a 20" co'z i like the look and it is more sporty. Checkwww.bigwheels.com co'z they have some suggestion for the accord. I wish that this will help you make a decision, only thing i've learned is, go with what you want.If you have some extra D's that you can spend, just do it rather than you will spent less and nothappy. Buying and installing wheels for your car is your personal choice and this will last for years. Let me knowand i can send you photo's of my car with 18" before and the new 20"wheels now. Try to avoid spacer on your bolt stud co'z it weaken the strength mount of your wheels to your car.
