will 20" rims fit on an 03 accord ex coupe witout having to add or adust anything with the suspension?

 

Do they come with 15's stock? I'd check 1010tires.com and they usually have this type of information....Are you looking to try and keep your stock tire size overall or does it matter?

 

It dosent matter I just want to be able to put 20" rims on without adjusting any suspension or anything like that.

 

well a 215/35R19 will fit and maintain tire size... so yeah I suppose a 20" rim will fit... as long as it has the proper offset etc it should be fine.... I would proably call a local tire shop for the best info...

 

you car is going to ride so ****ty with 20's on it. yea put em on .....if you run any wider than a 215mm though they are gonna rub a lot.

I personally probably wouldn't go over a 17or possibly 18 because of weight.... go to 1010tires.com and you can see a basic accord with various tire size on it.... (might be discounttires.com that I'm thinking of.... anyway one of the two...) 17" rims are going to weight at least 20 lbs. Which is about 4 lbs per rim (average) over a 15", now if you figure that in centrifical weight 1 lb = 7lbs (I.E. 1 lb of rotating mass = 7 lbs dead weight...) so we're talking 16 lbs extra rim weight x 7 = 112 lbs. I can almost promise that you will feel a loss in power, that's why I wouldn't go over 17".... look at this page... this contradicts the theory of 7x the weight but it's based on something different so I won't get into it... there's a list of rims and weights here... I can tell you that going from a 15 up to a 17 or 18 you will notice a difference in performance.... Check this website for a more "in depth" opinion on this..

I have 20's on my 99 626. everyone said it was too big but i got it to fit with no problem. i had to get a 20x7.5 rim with a 225/30/20 tire and it fit with no mods to my suspension. My girlfriend has 19's on her 2000 accord with a 225/35/19 tire and had no problem or had to do no mods to suspension. i have also seen a few 6th gen and 7th gen accords with 20's. It just matters on the width of the rim and tire. i hope that helps.

 

I have a 96 Accord and for me to have my 17" to run properly I had to purchase and camber kit for front and rear. I put the 17" on with low profile tires and within 3 months the insides of the tires were ruined. I did not know that Honda Accords have no camber adjustment on the front or back. If you want the tires to last the way they should you need to get a camber kit for front and back. I learned this the hard way..
