Default Anyone ever heard of Riax Wheels?

I'm going to purchase some from a friend at another forum and wanted to know your guys opinion on them as I'm not familiar with that brand. They're Riax 5G wheels to be exact. Thanks!

They're nothing special, but they're not horrible either. A wheel is a wheel, just don't take it to the track and expect it to perform like a racing wheel should, but I don't think that's the purpose you're getting them for.

i'm not lookin to take them to the track, but u knew that lol. I heard they're really heavy. Would that just affect a bit of take-off time or would their be worst results in the long run?

Agreed, they arent top of thee line, but a wheel is a wheel, how yo apply the wheel is what makes the difference.

not a bad deal, esp if they are new tires. Weight isnt a huge deal if you don't race, i mean you are talking tenths of a second in the quarter.

i just don't wanna get ripped off. i have NO IDEA how much each of these rims cost. Also, i hear they're very heavy and ur rite, i don't race but won't that affect my suspension in the long run?
