Wheels and tires would be the same for all cars really...

Cheap wheels dent easier, expensive wheels like to get stolen.... find something in the middle.

As for tires... that depends. I have good experiences with Toyo and Kumho, don't like Yokohama's that much, and I've heard people swear by Falken. Just read the reviews and find something you can afford with the performance you want.

the best wheels i had on my 2000 honda accord were Volk racing SE37K's with Falken Azenis sport tires. the Azenis sports were replaced with RT-615's and i am one who swears by them. i've gone through at least 7 sets of them on my 06 EVO IX MR. When i get another set of Volks for the accord (sold the ones i had on there, biggest mistake of my life), a set of RT-615's will be going on the accord as well.

i've run these tires on the street and in autocross, and they are the best tires i've ever used. can't go wrong with'em, and the prices aren't bad at www.discounttiredirect.com. as for kumho...trash, toyo...trash. the kumho Escta MX is a ****ty tire...had them on my 99 Civic Si, and hated them. toyo doesn't make anything in the 200 treadwear range. all their tires are 280 and above which are pretty much worthless. You have to get their competition tires to have any grip, and you can't run those daily...well you can, but it's not a good idea. the RT-615's are great. Either those, or Advan Neova AD07 (great grip, but not any better than the falkens, and the price is $100 more per tire), or Dunlop Direzza Z1 star specs (supposed to have a little more grip than the falkens, i'll find out on my next set of tires, and the price isn't much more). those are the only tires i'd really recommend.

as for rims, can't go wrong with Volks. RE30 for example in 18x9.5 weighs in at only 17.2lbs...nuts. the SE37k's i had on the accord were 17x7.5 and weighed in at only 14.2lbs. these are all forged wheels so they are strong as hell. another good wheel is the Enkie RPF1. they are very light, and strong.

Yeah... and why would someone need to drop $2k+ on tires and wheels on a DD? That makes no sense.

Makes sense on an MR, but not for a DD Honda, lol. That's like putting gold faucets on a broken sink.
