Default bigger wheels?

my accord has 15 inch steel wheels and i would like to put some alloys on it. my question is, how much would the speedometer be affected by say, 16 or 17 inch wheels?

Won't be affected at all with correctly sized tires.

215/45/R17 is a popular size for 17 inch wheels, not sure on 16 inch.

yep pretty much..in a sense...jus measure the overall diameter of the wheel/tire of the new and old...or actually find the measurements...if they are around the same then yeah you should be ok..thats the lazy way of findin out...lol

Can someone please tell me:

I currently have 15" steel wheels, and I will soon have 16" alloy rims.

What size tires will I need for the new 16" rims, to avoid speedometer descrepancies???

THANKS!!
