Correct Offset for Accord 98-02???...want to TUCK my rims!!!

I own a 2000 Honda Accord EX, 4-dr, 4 bolt.......was running Exel RH5 18"rims (45 mm offset) with Toyo Proxes 4....size 225/40/18 last 2 years........and it rubbed the fenders in the back!!!! I lowered the car almost 3 inches using ground control, and got the fenders rolled in....but still. If I sit people in the back.....it rubs constantly!!!!!!
This year I am looking to solve this problem. I am getting new rims, same size...but i would like to correct my offset. I dont know if I need to be going more or less with the offset. I have read a couple of places that the offset for that year accord should be 35-42 mm offset. But when i do the math....i think i need to be going more than 45mmto go inboard (away)from the fenders.
I want to slam my car and i want to TUCK my rims in. How can I achievie that?????......I see a lot of Accords on the net with their rims competley tucked in the backfenders...no rubbing????? How do u achieve that? What offset is that. <45mm?????? or >45mm?????
If anyone can help me answer my question, it will be greatly appreciated. Anxious to order my rims but need this INFO ASAP!
Thanks

Hi |Keyz...
According to my wheel books and connections we figure that you can go between 42-55 mm on that offset, the only thing that no one can tell you without trying the fitment already mounted and balanced on rims is how your suspensions going to accept...reason: keep the heavy weights out of the back seat

According to the WHEEL & TIRE GUIDE 2007...it shows the offset for this year accord at 35-42mm.....and not 42-55mm. So what offset would I need to have my rims tucked underneath the fenders?
