I am looking for some help regarding upgrading my wheels. I have a 2016 Accord EX-L V6 with the standard wheels. I would like to upgrade to the touring/sport wheels. The standard wheels on my car are 17". The touring/sport wheels are 19". Anyone know if there would be any trouble putting the touring/sport wheels on the EX-L or would there be TPMS issues?

Anytime we change tires, wheels or rotate it is necessary to re-calibrate the TPMS which is easily done in Settings via the Info center.

I asked the dealership the same question about upgrading to 19" and was told that there would be no issue as far as fit... of course, there is the cost to consider

 

Thanks for the information. I too called the dealership and they informed me that the only option for my car was an 18" rim. I found that hard to believe since the Touring and EX-L are virtually the same car with the Touring having more options which I did not really need. So would you know if the actual wheels have TPMS sensors attached? I have been looking for the wheels and have not found any with TPMS sensors nor have I found any sensors I could buy and mount.
