Hi All!

Just bought a '01 Accord Coupe 5 speed.

Came with Std wheels 195/65/15. I would like to go up to 17" but I'm concerned about having to get a 50 profile tire in a +2 conversion. Harsh Ride? Alot easier to crack my new 17" rims?

Would really appreciate a responce from those who have made that step up from 15's to 17's.

Hey man,

Not sure about on yours but on my 06 it comes stock with 215/50/17 and honestly I don't think it is a harsh ride...then again I have been riding around in lowered trucks with low pro's for years before this lol...as far as easier to crack if you do the math even if you go with the closest overall diameter to your 195/65/15 25.0 inches (with a 5 inch sidewall) and do a 205/50/17 (kinda narrow IMO) which is 25.1 inches you would still have a 4 in sideall which isn't THAT bad really (in comparison my stock is 4.2 inches)
