Default New Tires!

Just thought I'd drop a line and mention that I got some new tires! No my hydroplaning for me

I bought 4 Fuzion Hri 165/85/R15 for a couple penny's under $300 installed. 40k mile warranty and free rotations every 5k miles.

All season and they are H rated! Not that i'll use it though lol

You guys ever heard of this brand? Being able to cut through puddles is a new feeling for me!

Fuzion sounds familar....dunno how it handles though. I went through several tire brands...Cooper to Bridgestone to Goodyear to Kumho to Michelin.

I think I'm gonna try Falkens next...just to see how "soft" soft really is.

I have Fuzions as well, and Im pretty sure mine are the HRI. I like them well enough, but they dont grip as well during cornering as I would like. My 225/45/17s set me back $525, be happy you only have to get 15s lol. Im really thinking Falkens for my next set too, although I like Yokohama as well.

Thats not even that bad. It can go a lot higher, just depends on how bad you want that grip lol.

Looks like I wont be getting rims then b/c of the additional cost of new rims Grip doesnt really matter to me, I would rather have all seasons anyways.

Agreed. I bought a set of snows and rims for my m3...that set me back a tad under 1100. Rims were 400 of that. I couldnt go smaller than 17's cause that's all that will fit over the brakes.

I will have to buy new summer tires for the car by the end of the season. If I stick with the Michelin PS2s that came with it, im out about 300 each (2x 225/40 R 19, 2x 255/35 R 19). I can get General Exclaim UHP's for about half that. Havent made that call yet.

Accord tires are cheap!

nope...17" Pirelli sottozeros on ASA JR6 (i think) alloys. They dont make 17" steels.

The joys of BMW ownership.

LoL yeah, when you buy an M3, you get a sweet car... but you have to be prepared for the extra cost too.

Look at the bright side, at least you dont have a Yukon on 26 inch rims or something. Those tires would be retarded expensive.
